Celebs react to Bob Saget’s death, ‘Full House’ star and America’s dad

The world is mourning “America’s dad.”

“Full House” star Bob Saget was found dead on Sunday at the age of 65.

He was found “unresponsive” in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. His cause of death has yet to be revealed, though “detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Tributes have been pouring in from celebs, peers and costars all over social media.

“I am broken. I am gutted.  I am in complete and utter shock.  I will never ever have another friend like him.  I love you so much Bobby,” his fellow “Full House” co-star John Stamos tweeted.

“My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave,” added Dave Coulier.

“I don’t know what to say,” his TV daughter Candace Cameron Bure wrote. “I have no words. Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.

Jon Stewart simply tweeted, “Bob Saget… Just the funniest and nicest…”

Actress Kat Dennings added, “Oh god. Bob Saget!!! The loveliest man. I was his TV daughter for one season and he was always so kind and protective. So so sorry for his family.”

“Parent Trap” star Elaine Hendrix said, “Very sad news to hear about @bobsaget. We actually dated back in the day. He was a nice guy & one of the funniest people I have ever seen on stage. A true comedy giant. 🎭😔#RIPBobSaget.”

“Lost a great guy and a friend. RIP Bob Saget,” Guy Fieri noted.

“Oh no. RIP Bob Saget. Truly one of the nicest guys and so funny. Very sad,” Marc Maron said.

B.J. Novak tweeted, “I have always and will always love Bob Saget.”

Andy Cohen added, “He had the biggest heart and wore it on his sleeve. He was so generous with his feelings. A mensch. #BobSaget.”

“Will & Grace” actor Eric McCormack wrote, “This is just devastating. Enough already. #BobSaget.”

“Bob Saget was really kind. Fun to be around and loved comics more than anyone. I’m donating to @srfcure a charity very close to his heart. Also ‘Dirty Work’ is one of my all time favorite movies. Directed by Bob,” Amy Schumer wrote.

“I’m so shocked at @bobsaget’s passing. One of the most kind & thoughtful people I’ve ever come across & he just happened to be one of the funniest on the planet. I will miss you so much Bob. Love you dear friend. I’m so sorry @kellyrizzo. And so sorry to the rest of the family,” Joel McHale added.

“There wasn’t a kinder person in Hollywood than Bob Saget. I am having trouble wrapping my head around this. I do not want to believe this. It’s all too much to handle,” Josh Gad said.
